An established Oregon real estate executive, Barclay Grayson manages the development and acquisition of high-profile properties in the Portland area. In early 2022, Barclay Grayson’s Portland firm BPM Real Estate Group announced an agreement with Canyon Partners Real Estate, LLC, for a senior loan totaling $47.4 million. This will be directed toward the recapitalization of Hotel Vance.
The downtown, 180-room hotel set next to Portland State University opened in 2021 and offers an exceptional location within walking distance of numerous shopping and cultural destinations. In addition to upscale accommodations, it offers event and meeting space totaling 4,000 square feet, as well as the popular restaurant BEASTRO. The latter was launched by former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, known for his signature "Beast Mode” running style.
Previously branded Radisson Red, Hotel Vance is now part of the Marriott Tribute Portfolio and an element of the LEED Gold-Certified, 19-story Broadway Tower. The high-rise was completed in 2018 and has a fully leased office component that includes high-profile tenants such as Amazon.
